The MCM series clamp uses magnetic force clamping for injection molding machines. Magnetic lock minimizes deformation of the mold, reduces mold change time, and can be used in a clean environment. In addition, using permanent magnets assures maximum safety as the mold will not fall in cases of power failure or cable breakage. Energy input is only required for clamping and unclamping the mold, thus saving electric costs. Mold size standardization is not necessary as it would be with hydraulic or pneumatic clamping systems.
