Who We Are

JIT Automation Inc. is a privately owned Canadian company established in 1982. With over 30 years of experience dealing almost exclusively in the North American marketplace (NAFTA), we focus on improving the productivity, the efficiency, and the profitability of our manufacturing colleagues. Ultimately, we support our clients’ efforts in maintaining their competitiveness in the global market. 

JIT Automation was an early proponent of TQDC- Total Quick Die Change in the North American metal stamping industry. This was followed by TQMC- Total Quick Mold Change implementation, as it applies to the injection molding industry. Our approach to these technologies has been expanded to include such meaningful techniques as TPM – Total Product Maintenance, TQM – Total Quality Management, and when necessary, Set-Up-Time reduction programs. In all of these cases, we are motivated by the need and desire to assist our clients in the pursuit of manufacturing excellence.

To this end, we offer a full range of hydraulically activated piston and lever clamps. We also include high speed pumps, valves and power units. Our product range is further expanded with the inclusion of hydraulic and spring loaded die lifters and bolster extensions.

In addition to our home office in Toronto, Canada, we have established a sales, engineering, service and warehousing facility in Detroit Michigan. We are capable of serving the needs of manufacturers across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
